1stLAYERS was founded on a simple belief — that the first layer you put on in the morning sets the tone for everything that follows.
We design premium base layers for people who demand focus, precision and comfort in their everyday lives. Every detail is guided by a single question: how can we make your first layer feel invisible — yet indispensable?

The idea to start with pilots came naturally. They embody the qualities we wanted our brand to stand for — calm under pressure, precision and a quiet confidence.
But their work environment is also the ultimate comfort test. Hours in a sealed cockpit. Dry air. Constant swings between warm and cold. Moments of intense focus followed by long stretches of stillness.
They can't adjust, stretch or take a break when something feels off. Every distraction counts.
If underwear performs there — it can perform anywhere.

Before we designed a single prototype we reached out to pilots across Europe to understand what really matters: fabrics that breathe, seams that disappear and a fit that stays in place, no matter the conditions.
Every version of 1stLAYERS was refined through genuine feedback from professionals in the air. From early samples to final production, every detail was tested, adjusted and tested again — from fabric density to seam placement.
The result is underwear that doesn't remind you it's there. It moves with you, regulates temperature and holds its shape through long hours of focus.

Rooted in Scandinavian design principles, we believe in clarity, restraint and purpose. True quality doesn't need to shout — it shows up in the details.
Our Lyocell blend is sourced from sustainably managed forests and produced through a closed-loop process that minimises waste and water use. Softer than silk. Smoother than bamboo. Naturally breathable.
Although the idea began in aviation, our mission reaches far beyond it. 1stLAYERS is for anyone with the same mindset — focused, disciplined and composed under pressure.
Wherever your day takes you, it all starts with the first layer.
